Dr. Cary D. Letkemann

Dr. Cary Letkemann graduated from the University of Toronto in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and later graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1980.

After completing a one-year internship at St. Michaels hospital in Toronto, Dr. Letkemann opened his dental practice in Ancaster in 1981 and has been  practicing in the same location for 41 years.

Throughout the course of his career, Dr. Letkemann has been awarded fellowships in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the Academy of Dentistry International, the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists and the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics.

He is a past president of the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry, the American College of Dentists (Ontario Section), the International Dental Study Club and the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics.

He has recently been bestowed the Award of Merit by the Ontario dental Association for his achievements and contributions to organized dentistry throughout his career.

Dr. Letkemann has been happily married to his wife Sue for 39 years, has helped raise their four successful children and is proud to say he is the grandfather to seven beautiful grandchildren.
